Advice on a new set of clubs for a beginner. Second set. ?
I have been playing all summer and I am starting to realize the negative effects in the quality of my clubs. I am currently using a set of cheap Pro Simmons (Icon) clubs off of ebay. Graphite shafts. Regular Flex. I am wanting a set of clubs I can “grow into” if thats possible. Money isnt a big deal. I golf with guys of moderate eperience, and I feel I could improve with a better quality set of clubs. They suggest Taylormades. I am at a disadvantage due to geographic area. The closest place to try clubs in a demo area is an hour and a half away. I am 5'6'' around 205 with a fairly fast swing speed. Any suggestions on a maker I should look into. I kind of like the r7's but I am open to any suggestions and opinions.
